since July 2004. OFFER
has since then implemented Islamic Relief’s
Ramzan and Qurbani programs on a massive
scale in India and continues to support
270 orphans under the Orphans 1-2-1
Sponsorship Program through its two
offices in Calicut and Bangalore. This
project involves sponsoring the most
poor and needy orphans under the ‘Home
Care’ model, as against orphanages.
In this model, the orphans get to stay
with the families and OFFER reaches
out to them with the financial and program
support of Islamic Relief, to provide
them financial help, support and counselling.
In this manner, we can proudly say that
OFFER is the premier organization in
India specialising in Orphans Home Care.
Averaging at least 3 children per family,
that means we are catering to a minimum
of 800 orphans and a minimum of 250
widows and their families. This number
keeps increasing by the day with more
and more orphans being taken up by the
Islamic Relief Orphans Program.
